Why prices vary, and by how much.

The same-named service is often not the same product. Two menus can use identical words and sell you two different things.

The price drivers

Roughly in order of weight

  • What is actually in the service — ingredients, doses, product brand and quantity.
  • Who delivers it, and the level of medical oversight: physician versus nurse versus technician.
  • The real estate under it — the same bag costs more on a high-rent corridor.
  • The brand and experience layer: lounge versus clinic.
  • How it's sold — memberships and packages change the effective price.

The practical lesson

Compare ingredient lists and credentials, not menu names. A name is marketing; a dose and a license are facts, and only one of those two things tells you what you are buying.

What we're building

This is exactly what our price surveys are being built to map. No numbers until they're real — and every figure will carry a source and a date.

Educational only — not medical advice. Always consult a licensed clinician.
